Truthfully, I thought either Maaya or Himeko would be the one welcoming me but as it appeared, the two girls were quite busy themselves. Hence, they sent the assistant manager to pick me up.

Are they holding up well? Whenever they update me about this, they seem to be relaxing but it might not be as smooth sailing as they let on. After all, this was like a test given to them by their father, preparing them for when they would have to take over the hotel.

Maaya was always stressed because of it while Himeko, who previously couldn't do it, had just recently started to get the hang of things to help her little sister. But given Himeko's introverted nature, Maaya must've been trying to adjust for her Nee-sama.

As the elevator slowly lifted us to the top floor, I couldn't help but ask Selena about the sisters' current state of mind. "How are Lady Maaya and Lady Himeko doing?"

Her smile remained, but there was a hint of seriousness in her eyes. "They're managing, Onoda-sama. But they are indeed quite busy because of the upcoming season."

"I see. Summer is going to be a busy season for the hotel... You do operate as a resort too, after all."

"Yes. The exclusive poolside area will open for regular guests during the coming season. It's quite the popular spot during summer," Selena replied as the elevator doors slid open, revealing the plush carpet of the executive floor. "By the way, Onoda-sama, may I ask you a question?"

"Of course, Selena. What's on your mind?"

Obviously, she's curious about my identity. She's probably wondering who I am to the Itou Sisters or why I am acting like I know what I'm talking about when it comes to the hotel. Her curiosity must've been piqued by the arrangement they prepared for me.

Selena hesitated for a moment before speaking, "They've been... quite excited about your arrival. Is there something special I should know about your relationship with Lady Maaya and Lady Himeko?" @@@@

"Have they invited anyone else before?" My answer was also a question that would vaguely tell her that my relationship with the Itou Sisters was in line with what she was thinking.

Selena chuckled a little, "No, you're the first one to be given such an...extensive welcome. It's quite unusual."

"I see... Assistant Manager, did they ask you to keep this matter a secret? Or are you reporting directly to their father?" I inquired, trying to gauge her allegiance and how much information I could safely share.

Her eyes carried a hint of curiosity, but she remained professional. "They've simply requested that I ensure you're well taken care of, Onoda-sama. Nothing more, nothing less."

Maaya smirked, gracing me with that beautifully mischievous look of hers that could probably make every guy in school kneel before her. "Well, aren't you one? You're the first person to have the honor of being personally invited to this hotel by us, shameless guy."

"That's right, Ruki! You deserved to be treated like royalty!" Himeko giggled as she clung to me tighter. Somehow, she's acting more like the little sister when she's supposed to be the older one.

But well, this was Himeko we're talking about. She's like this especially to those she's really close with. And knowing that she's this affectionate towards me, it's just something that warms my heart.

Maaya took a step closer as she stuck to my side, "Besides, Ruki. We waited for you earlier but you were an hour late. You cannot expect us to remain in the lobby when we have work to do. Plus, wasn't it quite an experience for you?"

"Other than feeling the gazes of everyone in your hotel's lobby burning into me like I'm a celebrity. Yeah, it was quite an experience." I hooked my arm around her, pulling her closer. This time, the girl immediately melted, breaking the strong character she always put on in front of everyone else.

As for Himeko... well, she's already content with just hugging me, so I decided to let her be. She's come a long way from being the introverted yet brave girl who approached me after I first showed up in the Book Club to this.

"Pfft. You should prepare, Ruki. You'll be following us today. You'll get more attention." Himeko giggled as she buried her face in my chest, inhaling deeply. Really, the way she expressed how much she missed was simply too adorable. I couldn't help but want to pamper her already.

"And here I thought my job today was only to pamper you both."

"Naive, shameless guy. Since you're already here, Nee-sama and I are going to show you how we work together. You're worried about us, right? In return... you'll have to show off to whoever's watching us and reporting to our father. You see, he's already suspecting that we're both involved with a guy. With that grand reception we gave you, he already called us while you were on your way here, asking about your identity."

This... I know it's not that simple.

"So that's the case, huh? Well then... I have to show off my abilities then. To convince him to give you both to me."

At that, Himeko laughed sweetly while Maaya rolled her eyes, "You and your confidence. If only it is that easy. One of us is one thing but both? You're going to make him grow white hairs."

Maaya then pinched my cheek and laughed alongside her Nee-sama. "But first, Ruki... Nee-sama and I will not let you off lightly for being late."

Without warning, Maaya leaned in, capturing my lips in a firm, demanding kiss. Himeko didn't waste a moment either, her lips found my neck, leaving a trail of warmth and light kisses that expertly focused on my sensitive spots.

As always, the punishment from my girls is this blissful.
